Poor guy :< I hope his condition starts to get better. I have two cats, Nano and Pico. The worst thing that has happened to them involved Nano getting wrapped in the cord for the blinds while we were away all day for Thanksgivings. She had peed a bit on things near the window, and was pretty exhausted by the time we got home. She wasn't walking on the leg that was wrapped, and so we took her to the emergency clinic down the road. Thankfully, nothing was broken, but her leg was swollen for a week and sometimes now she has to stick it out and stretch it. We both felt so horrible, and the weeks afterwards we focused on her quite a bit, to make sure she was okay.
For what it's worth, I'll send positive thoughts your way!
On the plus side, we've probably gotten through all the surgery that he'll need for 99.9999999...% of his life.
On another plus side, he doesn't seem to be suffering from all the poking, prodding, shaving and whatnot. I hope this means his recovery will be strong.
I'm counting down the days until we have the spook-u-later running around the house again. I'm starting to miss tripping over him when I get out of the shower, and of his guerrilla warfare against inanimate objects.
