Schuylkill Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic

I have been volunteering at this clinic for the last two years and it is truly a peaceful, healing place for wildlife and people. I have the priviledge of feeding orphaned birds and animals (you wouldn't believe how noisy 12 fledgling chimney swifts can be when they know they are going to be fed!) It is a most bizarre thing. The person leading the 'coup' attempt has previously failed to run the clinic successfuly. Despite her failure (which was everyone else's fault, of course) she is obsessed with the clinic and convinced that her way is the only way the clinic should be run. Sadly she has manouvered herself politically so she has input into the PA Game Commission.
I really have no idea whether Rick and Michele will keep their jobs, but the Environmental Center have said unofficially that if she succeeds they will close the clinic rather than have her involved again. She, however, already has her new staff lined up and is recruiting volunteers for next season. It's a crazy situation.

That's messed up. Really.

Hey, we're going to be in Gilbertsville in t a week and a half. Any chance of seeing you? And yes, I realize it's unlikely, but I'm ever hopeful.

Hmmmm...currently we are at a cocktail party on the 24th and a gala dinner on 25th. I may be able to wriggle out of the Friday night, definitely not the Saturday. Where and when are you coming?
