Yesterday was hot and annoying and so was Boog. I was in desperate need to get some work done, so I sent him out to the backyard to play with the dog. After working feverishly for about half an hour, I went to check on him. He was nowhere to be found in the backyard.

Checked the garage. Bike still there.

I knew that if you were telling the story this way that everything just HAD to be okay, but man... still on the edge of my seat.

how scary!

my brothers once crawled under a spare crib set up in the storage/guest room (they were 2; they closed the door behind them because they weren't supposed to be in there) and fell asleep. the police found them, too. I get the impression that the police would MUCH rather have that outcome than any other.

My mom baked a big cake and hand-delivered it to the police station the next day.

evan did this to me once. i continue to hold it over his head, it makes for great leverage. in his case he fell asleep behind the couch (there was a console table so it had a gap to the wall). p. sure i lost like 10yr off my life that day.
