At first I was like \(^∀^)メ(^∀^)ノ

then I saw "7 12 minute episodes" and I was like ಠ_ಠ

Then I watched the trailer and I was like (∩▂∩)

84 minutes is far less than BSG deserves but its better than nothing. I'm glad the show is coming back at least a litle bit.

It certainly looks quite cool.

But,, er.... released as/on what? I take it it's not on TV? Released on a DVD? Internet only? I've never heard of "Machinima" before

I think it's going to be Internet only, since it was originally meant to be a webseries.

It sort of looked that way to me too. But apparently it's also going to come out on TV in a 2-hour version according to another responder below. I hope so! I'd much prefer that than these tiny little chopped up "webisodes"

"B&C is a prequel movie being presented as ten, 7-12-minute episodes on young-male-targeted entertainment company Machinima’s YouTube channel, called Machinima Prime. The first episode will be released on Friday, Nov. 9, with the remaining episodes rolled out over the next four weeks. In early 2013, the two-hour version of B&C will air on Syfy, followed by the release of an unrated version on home video."

I loved 'Caprica', but it seems I'm one of 10 people who did. I didn't want to go through that again. It doesn't make any sense to me that they'd start a new show, when there was so little promotion and support given to 'Caprica'.

But... I'm a sucker. I guess I will have to give it a try.

I wouldn't get my hopes up that they'll do anything other than the pilot movie. But it's still worth watching for the entertainment value.

I rather liked Caprica as well, though the second season didn't fare quite as well if I remember my reactions well enough! I loved that sense of building back the history of the colonies. I thought they did a good job. I'd rather see that come back, but, ah well. :(

There was no second season, unfortunately. Just a split first season.

The word "finally" seems too mild somehow.

Now we just need a double soundtrack release for Caprica and Blood & Chrome. Bear McCreary has been promising the Caprica Season 1 soundtrack for ages.

Just so you know, La La Land released it last week, as part of a 3000 copies only thing.
