Aw, Jamie Bamber is adorable! In a little snippet of an interview on digital spy he claims that BSG could have been as big as Doctor Who if it weren't stuck on Sky:

I LOVE Doctor Who, and I really wish that somehow when David Tennant leaves that Jamie will be chosen to be the Doctor :D

Jamie is doing Law and Order: London (or UK which is not clear yet), where it's said he's going to use seduction as one of the components of his work as a Detective Sargent. I think that will be a much better role for him.

I'm guessing that by "seduction" they mean flirting. Because, as far as I know, seducing witnesses, suspects etc. is something that gets a policeman fired. *rolleyes*

I can't see Jamie Bamber as Doctor Who. He doesn't have the air of eccentricity required.

I could see James Callis, but I don't think he'd want to commit to another SciFi show.
