I may have mentioned before how much of a badass my Fabulous Year of the Snake Cousin is. She wants to study abroad Stateside next year and I am trying to prepare her for that without terrifying her outright, though she was the one who pointed out that a disproportionate number of college students getting killed in America seem to be study abroad ( Read more... )

We did a 4D thing at the...Shedd Aquarium, I think? One of the museums in Chicago. We didn't enjoy it much actually, especially the being jabbed with a stick part -_-;;

How sad! It helped that the movie was so spiffy, and I knew what to expect on account of my friends waxing rhapsodic about it.

Universal Studios always some kind of 4D feature going - when I was wee it was one of the "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" films, except that the whole thing was filmed so that the audience was in the perspective of being shrunk. Now I think they're doing A Bug's Life, or some other sort of Pixar feature. It was fun.

Also Sookie/Eric is my OTP for that fandom. And I *always* pick the canon, even if it isn't yet.

Ugh, I dunno, Sookie is irritating me so much in these 1.20 episodes of the third season that I've seen so far that I think I would much prefer Eric to eat Sookie. Wait, that would elicit no end of unbearable wangsting from Bill. SIGH.
