Question! Umm-- what does EDT mean? What time zone does it mean?

It's Eastern Daylight Time. I fixed the link next to it, but it'll show you the current time in the time zone.

So does this mean it doesn't matter if we use a female character for the shounen icon? (It won't add any extra point if we icon a male like it did in challenge one.)

Correct. The gender of the character(s) in your icons this week do not matter. There's no bonus points for using one gender over the other.

I hope it's ok to include both serif and calligraphy/script fonts in my icon? Will it still grant me a bonus point?

Of course. As long as the font that is needed for the bonus point is present, it will count.

For the romance icon, is it okay to use a normal image of a couple or do they have to be doing something really romantic? And for the action icon, does it have to be a chaotic action scene or can I just use an image of someone with a weapon?

For the romance, it should be obvious they're a couple and not just two characters, but it doesn't have to be overtly romantic. For the action as long as the weapon is drawn/partially drawn that's fine. There's no need for it to be chaotic.
