The more i look, the more I keep changing my mind on what I want and what I don't want. As I mentioned before, my body limit is $1,000, so these are the cameras I've chosen. I'd like your advice on which camera I should choose. I've asked a few photographers, and each of them told me to go with either a Nikon or a Canon, so I most likely will...

Thank you so much for your advice, I finally narrowed it down to two (hopefully). I was hoping you'd comment because I think that the photos you take are beautiful, so I'm really glad that you did!

That website helped me out a lot, because I was going to go to Circuit City to purchase everything, saw the rating, and decided I'd go to CordCamera instead.

I would definatly go for canon or nikon. My photographer friend Nadyia uses both. If I remember correctly, I think both of hers are in the 8 mega pixel range.

If I were you, I'd just compare which ones have different features and which ones will benefit you the most for the kind of photos you want to take.

Maybe even take a trip to a store so you can actually look at them. That's what I did, and it helped me a lot.

What Canon does he have?

A Rebel. He takes aviation/wartime history photography. I told him about your post and he also reccomends the Nikon D70. I have seen him use both, I keep trying to convince him to retire one of his cameras to me but no such luck! XD
