Hair drama?
I finally got up the nerve to use the henna pack that's been sitting on my bathroom windowsill for a month now, and it came out MUCH redder than I thought it would! The package said "light red" but I knew it could go darker because my hair is still fried from when I dyed it (regular Clairol stuff) last December. Spring Rain
It's raining today, off and on, and though it means we probably won't get any customers at the store (I'm learning shoppers' habits!), I'm loving it. As works in progress become finished goods
For the past few months I've been focusing on finishing my way-too-many works in progress, at least the knitting ones, and I'm actually following through. Would-be gardening day
The forecast called for warmer weather today, finally -- it's been in the 30s and windy the past week -- but it's still windy, and 42 isn't much warmer than 30. So I placed seven straw bales for a homemade cold frame, shoveled in some dirt and old chicken manure, and topped it off with one big plastic greenhouse panel that fits perfectly over top.
