I didn't think there'd be as many German speakers as there are, it's a pleasant surprise at least. But isn't this whole without translation thing a little, well, inconvenient for most of us? It really is. But it's to be expected with how many of us actually know it, right?

Confusing and frustrating. I don't like that I can't understand around half of the languages.

I didn't think someone would actually know my native tongue. Diverse as we may be, it's making communication harder which isn't something we really need in an unfamiliar place.

I spent quite some time in Hungary now and again a long, long time ago. I wouldn't worry about the problems communicating. People will manage.
