You've all seen the Kurosawa's probably, but just as a genre ... I prefer black and white samurai films.

Which leads me to mention my favorite movie ... probably of all time ?

I watched Zatoichi once at Pierre's and I was very impressed. Maybe we should get together and watch some during the fall.

Holy crap! I got that sitting on my tv right now from Netflix! I'm a HUGE chimbara fan! Go see Onmyoji. I discovered it recently and it kicks ass. My fav is still Seven Samurai.
