It was an "accident" in the sense she wasn't let OUT on purpose, but I really should have known better than to trust people who hate animals with my pets. Really now. :(

I tried a couple shelters, but no luck. I've heard a few neighboors claim they've seen her running through their backyard so...

Really? I just tried it now and it didn't work. :< Poo.

I sincerely hope that ending is a hoax because it's REALLY poor writing and it ruins the whole series for me when an author "gives up" on his/her writing. :| *headbonk*

BTW, the last word of the "official" leaked copy is "well." If that's what you read, then it's probably legit.

oh, hon, I'm sorry you haven't found the kitty yet. *hugs* I hope she turns up soon.

Also, if that is the actual ending I think I may laugh myself into exhausted hysteria. I haven't read any of the spoilers. I want to find out on my own :D

I read a spoiler page that was on the main LJ page and it's all a load of crap. Except that several DIFFERENT "versions" all have that ending.
