Oh god. This is just...horribly painful. I read the warning, so I knew what was coming but...wow. I am almost in tears right now. Both at the brutality of what occurred and then at how tender the moment was between J/B. You are *killing* me with this fic.

Yeeeaaah. About this, um...
I usually reread my work from time to time, so I can catch any errors/weak spots and clean stuff up as needed. But I still can barely bring myself to reread THIS one again without getting all squeamish and whatnot. When I was actually writing it, it actually took me a few days, because I'd just freeze up when I was about to start detailing the actual rape. Had to tell the story, cuz it was a necessary plot point for the series, but...still squicks me out. And I'm the friggin AUTHOR. o_0

But I'm glad you read it, and it didn't deter you from reading the rest of the series. That's one of the biggest things I'm afraid of in this series, is that the third installment will make people not want to read farther. :( But hey, the risks of writing, I suppose. Thanks for sticking with me here. :)
