Oh my god...This is amazing. I love the emotional rollercoaster Alfred goes through and how distressed and horrified he becomes the more he watches Bruce and the Joker. And the way you wrote the relationship between the two of them? The I-don't-really-hate-you-but-I-don't-like-you-either feeling between Bruce and the Joker was perfect. Are we going to see how things work out for Alfred and Bruce?

Loved it!

Any fics I've read of Alfred seeing them like this have always been comedies so it was good to read something that did have humorous undertones but also showed something a lot more realistic.

I liked having all the detail there of what Alfred was thinking, not only of what was happening with the two but also having to run around after the rich people at the party. That would be frustrating, especially because Bruce doesn't even want them there!

I have to say this once: Poor Alfred! Although I liked the touch of having him not so innocent in his past. That's much more believable to me! I'm sure he was a little hell-raiser in his day and would have seen a lot in his travels.
