BY THE NUMBERS

1 was Batman, who was plagued by bad luck.

(You think I’m your bad luck following you around, don’t you sweetheart? I think I’m your bad habit. And face it, you’re not breaking me any time soon.)

2 was the Joker (me!) who was flipped in a truck.

(Wheeeeee! That was so much fun, Batsy. We should do it again some time.)

Heehee, I loved that. Especially since you got your inspiration from two of my favourite authors ever. Great job, that was really fun!

I've mentioned this before but I have a little brother due in April and, given my own dark childhood (favorite movie at age five was the gorelicious From Dusk Till Dawn, favorite musician was the late great Easy E), I think I am compiling a tidy list of Batman/Joker children's stories to read to him someday.

10 was the freakshow. That’s me and you.

(Oh, sweetheart. If only you’d admit it.)

Love.

Ooh, that's going to be one messed up kid!!!!! Heh heh. And, wow - I can't watch gory movies now, let alone at that age!!!
He could watch Batman The Animated Series when he's older - it's awesome!!!! I've only just discovered it. :)

Is it still on TV? I suppose I could always get him a DVD, regardless. I find it so strange (read:awesome) that Batman doesn't have an age-limit. I used to think it was for kids. Then I found this community, of course. Besides, he won't be messed up! He'll have a wonderful grasp of literary references as well as word play. And cool stories.

Yeah, my mother's either the worst parent ever or the coolest. I've spent the greater part of seventeen years deciding which.

Yes, I love how it can be enjoyed at so many different ages/levels! I saw the series on DVD, I think it's still on TV sometimes...

I like how Batman and all the rest of the characters can be interpreted so many different ways, too.

Heh. Your mum sounds pretty cool...
