wow. of course, I love the last bit because it's Bats/Joker and the Joker's voice is so clearly smug it's not funny. :) but you have to feel a bit bad for Clark because deep inside, he is just the orphan boy with neither home nor parents. I'd maybe give him a hug, but your description of him with "too bright blue eyes" kinda freaked me out.
so I'm off to be a fly on the wall where the Joker's staying with Bruce. thanks for sharing your interpretation. :)

I like the Joker's perspective on things here- and he's right, happiness doesn't seem to make good heroes, or at least not ones that last.

All the best characters have issues,i think that is why we fall in love with them.

The way you wrote it, the characterizations, the point of view, everything!
Now do me a favout and start posting your challenge fics on ff.net too so that I can list them under my favs there xD

lol hard! It's a great, great true.
I love how much Bruce is dark and prefers to love a delinquent as Mr J, than someone as Clark.=P It shows a lot of his soul...

I love a Bruce that wants to like the light, wants to like something good, but can not help his own soul
