ahaha, well I'm wearing them to a party tomorrow as part of my costume (INTO THE FUTURE theme! the rest will be normal clothes) so I'm sure there will be pictures from that.

They look super awesome, except that I can barely walk and I tend to fall over backwards. It's easier to bounce than walk.

Are they really as bouncy as they say they are?

I dunno how bouncy they say they are, but they're pretty bouncy, and you can alter their bounciness by changing the number of elastics. I put more elastics in (so they're less bouncy) because I know people are going to want to play with them at the party and I don't want them to break.

I really wanted them when I was little, but my mom convinced me that they didn't work. I want to prove her wrong!

oh they totally work. andrew and i played with them on the lawn today. they're bouncy bouncy.

here's my story about moon shoes, which i think i've posted like 8 times but whatever:

when i was a kid i really wanted them but i never got them, and then in grade 7 or so my best friend's next door neighbour had them. one day he was playing with them and we went over there and asked if we could have a turn. he looked at me and said "NO YOU'RE TOO FAT!" then he started laughing and bounced away, and promptly fell over and broke his leg.

so that was awesome because i got to see karma in action but not awesome because my parents were like "KIDS BREAK THEIR LEGS! THEY ARE DANGEROUS! YOU WILL NEVER GET MOON SHOES!"

now i'm 20 and i can have all the moon shoes i want. TAKE THAT PARENTS.
