history is being made and for once it's something good. for the first time, a politician has surprised me for the better. gay marriage is legal in san francisco. not domestic partnership, not some "separate but unequal" thing- real marriage. i didn't expect newsome to be a good mayor, but i may have to begin revising my opinion. it was planned
