I love this little nugget. You captured the whole essence of how Batman refuses to admit he ever needs help from anyone, even when it's completely obvious. Superman knows the deal and rolls with it, but he was wrong... there was one thing broken: his ego. :)
Batman never needs help. Except when he really does. Not that he'd ever admit it!! Fortunately Superman is flexible and willing to help out, even when he's put down for it. Oh well!!
Poor Batman. It would be awful to be stuck like that and depending on outside help, his least favorite thing in the world. And why would he thank anyone when he could get out himself? ;) Well, hopefully he learns a lesson one day.
"Eventually." Ha! Yeah right - keep telling yourself that Batsy!
I want to say this is neat and tidy, but that somehow doesn't sound as complimentary as I mean it to be! You get everything you need in the 500 words, and it's a nice stand-alone piece. Plus it's kinda sweet (and I don't often say that about Bats-centric stuff!).
I actually had to slice off about thirty words to get it under the limit. It was tough getting in the danger of being stuck and also working in Batman's conflict of "I'm a loner!" but also "Wow, I need some help!"
And yeah, Batman isn't really a sweetie, but sometimes he's not so bad.
