Oh wow, Dick and Bruce and Alfred gen, one of my favourite things. :D

This was great -- loved how the suspense and tension with the plants built up throughout the story, before reaching that very dramatic (and terrifying, yeesh) climax. And that bit at the end where Bruce realised it would have been much worse if it was the Joker rather than Ivy, and hugged Dick -- aww! Perfect. :D Thanks for this.

There's definitely something special about that trio, right? :)

I'm glad this worked for you; it was rushed. I had fun with it, though. The Joker would have been so much worse, and no doubt Bruce would leap to that and how lucky he is Dick is in his life and safe!

Aww, I really enjoyed this! It read like a Silver Age story. Very sweet and fun!

Yep, Bruce, Ivy isn't quite as twisted as the Joker. You guys lucked out!

I loved the hug at the end, and the whole family dynamic of Bruce,Dick and Alfred. :)

I haven't written this trio in a while, and it was fun! I was going for an older-style story, with Dick being a teen and Bruce using words like "darling," so I'm glad to hear it worked!

Ivy at least generally has *reasons* to cause mayhem, frustrating though they can be sometimes. Joker just poisons/kills people for sport.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

I'll admit to having a sneaking admiration for Ivy. I am very into plants and trees and like her sticking up for them, though I'm not a fan of her more intense methods! ;)

She's an interesting character because she has a real mission in a lot of what she does, not just anarchy or killing. Plus she can really carry the whole vines-as-outwear thing.
