I really enjoyed Harley's collapse here from respected doctor to obsessed to sidekick/lover. It's fun to see an outside perspective on it, especially from someone so close to it.

And poof Schiff--hanging onto something that surely everyone but him could see was pointless. It would be good for him to grow, but not into a new Rogue!

Thank you very much for reviewing, and for taking the time to read it in the first place. I had no idea when I started writing that it would turn out so long.

As it is, I was just able to make it in time for the deadline; and although I edited it a few times myself I would've really liked to have a beta reader to get someone else's opinion. After the contest I'm going to try to find someone to beta for me.

I was just wondering out of curiosity, when Crane sees the inmates running past, flinches, and Schiff asks who he saw, and Crane says “Doesn’t matter. Didn’t see me," is it obvious that he saw Victor Zsaz, or does it make you wonder who it could be?

I didn't piece it together, no, but that doesn't mean other people wouldn't. Maybe make a comment about the tattoos or something when you edit it?

Actually, I was hoping that it wasn't obvious 'cause I wanted the Zsaz reveal at the end to hopefully be surprising. Don't know if the fic is so long one forgets Zsaz threatened to kill Crane at the beginning, but I'm hoping these things would be interesting to anyone on a re-read. Thanks again.
