That is freakin' adorable. The ages change. I always prefer their original age range, where Dick was a teenager and Babs was 25 with about 7 years difference, but they've moved it around vaguely since then.

Which adds up to this story being awesome and right because it's just what you were going for!

Aww, thanks!

I think the idea of Dick having puppy love for an older Babs is cute, which is why I wanted him a little younger. And yeah, DC keeps changing things so I figured it wasn't so bad if I didn't get it right.

Thank you so much, that's such a nice comment!

*dies from the cuteness*

The bit where he showed it to Alfred first was just too sweet for words! He would definitely be the go-to-guy for this sort of stuff rather than Bruce, and he gave excellent advice.

And aww, adding more glitter, just in case... Bless!

Hehe, *revives*

Alfred is definitely the right person to go to--I doubt it even went through Dick's head to go to Bruce. I can't imagine Bruce having any idea what to tell him!

Dick seems like a kid who'd add glitter to stuff. Just an impression I get. :)

Thanks for reading and commenting!

I thought the glitter detail was excellent characterization.

In the comics, Dick meets Barbara when he's about sixteen. But in the TV cartoon, he seems younger. And in the fancomic "Batman & Sons," he's younger still. So you can choose your canon.

Thanks! It seemed to fit.

Yeah, I've given up really trying to figure out anyone's ages unless they're current teens. It's so hard with other characters, like with Bruce for example barely aging while Dick's aged at least ten years. I have their ages in mind for fic, but canon is vague enough it usually doesn't matter. Thanks for the confirmation!
