Several friends have recently made some pretty sweeping statements about older single women (and no, I don't count myself an "older" single woman...) - walking the line between implying that they're pathetic and denying that they even exist

I hear you. I know I have a partner but I don't have kids or want them. Nor do I want a house, or a wedding (I would kind of like a dog). I hate how people are so condescending about things like. I kind of suspect that it comes from a place of insecurity but what do I know? I've never even had a kid or planned a wedding.
