ReadyMade + Instructables - The Project Blog
http://readymademag.com/projectsblog/project.php?project=E1CWAHGNXLERIE31X4 "How to stuff a mouse. Warning: an extremely graphic tutorial involving dead mice."
The results looks really...awkward, but this is a Dummies's Guide of sorts... Neat, though I kinda wish that it had mentioned something like CO2 chambers or injections as well if it was going to mention 'taking care' of live material...and wow, the 'costumes' and poses in question really does an injustice to the dead, preserved mice and the ancient Chinese, the cutting is terrible! Those style of outfits are form fitting, not tight, but form fitting, it's not supposed to be a damn tube unlike what the offerings of certain AZN trend stores might suggest.
Also, does anyone know a good link to fish taxidermy, the ones I've found so far details the complete artificial replication of a fish as fishes lose their colours in death even when otherwise well preserved in alcohol. What about 'glass fishes' then? With 'crayfishes', do you just empty out the insides?
...and has anyone here ever preserved a pet or is planning to, instead of the usual burial?
