We've been talking about Enver's acting non-stop since yesterday. My god that was an incredible job. It's one thing to portray a character, but it's another to do so based on how another actor has already portrayed him. Not only were the Topher/Topher (oh good lord, there's slash of that now, isn't there?) scenes hilariously hilarious, it was just amazing to see. I'd hand Enver and Emmy after last night.

Also loved Topher/Bennet and all of their interaction together. After the preview I didn't expect to like her, but it was impossible not too. I'd like to see more scenes of them, but I think he's smart enough to walk away after what she did with Caroline/Echo, so I don't think we will. It's a shame, she really was his perfect girl, and he her perfect guy. The flirting and awkwardness was just wonderful.

As for her behavior, I did wonder if she had AS at first. I work with a number of students with Asperger's and she did display a lot of the typical behaviors/characteristics (self speech, repitition and perseveration, not ( ... )

That remind me of the Doctor telling Jack that he would be the only man he would be happy with!

As for her behavior, I did wonder if she had AS at first. I work with a number of students with Asperger's and she did display a lot of the typical behaviors/characteristics (self speech, repitition and perseveration, not understanding the thinking patterns of others, obsession with and mastery of a particular field), but as the episode went on it became clear that that was not the case. You could potentionally say that she had AS, but that the incident with Caroline and her arm caused a whole lot of new psychological issues, but I really think they're more going for her being neurotypical prior to the incident. Either way, AS would not explain all of her behaviors for sure.

I guess it just annoys me since it affects me personally and because of all the negative (and often)stereotype there is around AS.

After all the plan was for him originally to take down the LA dollhouse, by claiming Maddy was insane that plan didn't go down.

Adelle thought that was the plan. It looks like the plan was for Madeline to be "exposed as a crazy woman" all along. Hence the FBI showing up for her right away. I'm not 100% because they didn't state it aloud, but Perrin went back to be wiped and got the new programming Rossum planned to give him so that he would exonerate them, and he'll continue to be programmed periodically to do what they want. I wasn't clear on this until the recap at io9 explained it, either.

BTW, you can italicize outtakes from another's post, using <"i"> at the beginning and <"/i"> at the end (but without the quotation marks, those are there so you can see the code, which is just the i and /i in brackets).

Oh, see I just thought they were there just incase something went wrong, a contingency plan. Which still doesn't explain the look he gave Madeline. Hopefully we'll see him again or they'll be a recap next week that will make that more clear, since normally I'm quite good at picking up on things like that.

Thanks!

Sorry it took so long to response, for some reason my emails aren't arriving when they should, it's telling my later that they arrived at a certain time, but weren't there when I first looked. Which is annoying.
