Man, that movie was gory.  I had to look away a couple times.  Otherwise, it was okay.  Well, the leads' singing was not that good.  Hell, my uni could have found better singers, and our theater program sucks.

It was a proper Tim Burton piece;  reminded me a lot of Sleepy Hollow, with the everpresent gray interspersed with color.  He did well with

That movie's pretty awesome. I really liked it, but I can't think of a Tim Burton movie I don't like.

When did you guess at the shocking ending?

Yeah, pretty much. I think Ed Wood is the best though.

I was familiar with the musical before the movie came out, so at the end when everyone in the theater gasped when they thought he would kill Johanna, I was like, "um, did you not know who he just killed before her?"

I figured it out when she was talking to him, right before he killed her. But yeah, shocking! :o
