A bit of a long update...

Oct 16, 2005 14:05

Hm, I've done something that I rarely do... I've decided to jump onto a bandwagon and take that exam that friends on my list have been posting lately, regarding my personality type. I believe it was fairly accurate; but of course, you all know me. What do you think?

Of course you'd score high on the hedonistic scale! And I want to see what you've been working on!

haha, thanks Greg. I hope what I've been working on is up to par for me, since it'd been a while since I'd written. I showed it to Pete, and he thinks it's pretty good...

I did read about that, forgive me for not commenting. I think you'll enjoy them. If you listen close to "My Size", on Smash Your Head Against the Wall, you'll hear a Boris the Spider riff at the end. I decided to throw that in there for people to notice (or not notice), since the song is about a spider as well (though, not as obvious).

Love to you too!

It's odd how accurate an online personality assessment can be, eh? Not too bad though. I was surprised myself, haha. Love you too!

So glad you're back!

And very glad you enjoyed my cake.

I'm not familiar with your solo stuff (YET, I'm just saving up for them ALL!) but I enjoy your album and song titles! I'm glad you're writing again!

BTW, "Boris the Spider" is a great hit with my 17 month old. She'll pat my lap while I'm at the computer and say, "Pyduh! Pyduh!" LOL! When I turn it on and she hears the bass at the start, she'll cheer and clap her hands....

You've a new fan. *grin*

Thank you for the warm welcome back, and the cake was a bit of heaven on earth, haha.

I've a feeling you'd enjoy my solo stuff if you enjoy the songs I've done with The Who. My album and song titles are definitely a bit different, but I like them that way. I'm glad I'm writing as well, I had a lot of creativity built up inside, I suppose.

Wow, your 17-month-old likes Boris? That's great! haha, I remember when my son Christopher was a baby that he'd get excited when Happy Jack was played, and he used to love to listen to my bass (not turned up, of course, what kind of father would I be?!) I suppose you've got to start them early, eh?

Well, "Boris" and "My Wife" are perennially in my top ten favourite Who songs -- and I love to call "The Real Me" 'The John-And-Keith Show'. *grin*

And different is GREAT! I get so tired of the same old stuff on the radio.

Amanda's never heard "Happy Jack" yet. My 13 year old, she loves the video for it on TKAA. (So do I, honestly, despite what the makeup people did to your face. Watching you act all silly was worth it!)

Yup, start 'em early and they're fans for life. I remember my dad hated rock music (country and bluegrass lived in our house), but when he was at school my mom would turn on the rock station and whenever a Who song or a Beatles song would come on she'd crank it and dance with me. One of the few really happy memories I have of her and you guys made it happen.

Anyhow, I'm Rambling Rose tonight LOL! Sorry.
