By arguments, you mean persuasive essays, right? I basically wrote nothing but persuasive essays since freshman year of high school. Even the essays that I wrote in college were persuasive in a way. It was mainly research, but you had to convince the prof. that what you're saying in your thesis can be true.

You'll be surprised by the amount of "dumb" people in college. I sometimes wonder how I managed to get into college myself...
