ahh., i really like the way, chloe was teasing clark here, and compared his NON date with lex to her and lana's dates with clark :D

your tidbits and insights into clarks mind are also fun!

and the slow pace totally works for me!

I have to say that I'm much sorrier about Clark having to bail on Lex than I ever was about his bailing on Lana. *eg* And I love Lex calling Clark his best friend, and Clark getting all wide-eyed in response.

Lex smiled. “We have a lot in common your father and I,” he said.

“Oh, like what?” Clark asked, with a smirk.

“Like we’re both rather fond of you.”

So cute!

Really liking this :)
I love how missing the concert with lex wasnt a big deal, because clark took the time to explain and lex understood. I'm rapidly forgetting canon and replcaing it with this :)

I never got why Clark didn't just explain it to Lana. It made so little sense to me. If one of my friends was off on a date with some guy and the news came on saying he was possibly a murderer I'd be running off to tell her too!!
