being a grown up

I never understood what it means to be a grown up, or what maturity really is. It seems to always be a matter of perception. I've always had trouble with the concept of growing up because i've never felt like I've changed, really, in any way

I agree, I don't think you've changed. You've always been you. Our fundamental personalities don't change, but our certain behaviours and reactions change, because it's learned.
