Merry Christmas to you too. I have been given a book called Bass Guitar for Dummies. I did ask for it though so I'm not insulted.

not bass so much as guitar/musical stuff. I got a hand-held chord computer (contains over 4000 chords *dies*), tuner/metronome, cleaning kit (strings, frets, body), and... I think that's it. Haha, I was very content, though ;]

Peavey speakers are the best. If you want heavy some day I have to get a picture of my guitar player's rack. The four-space Marshall in the bottom is only the beginning (sigh). Two of us *can* move it but it's much less painful to have four.

Nothing much for myself for the holidays. Having a two-year old means most of the gifts go his way. He did get a "baby grand" piano from my aunt so the musical tradition continues.

Funny thing with me, ever since I got married all the gifts from family and friends either come with her name on them or both of our names. Even the stuff with both our names is generally for her. We agreed this year that we wouldn't be exchanging gifts between us because we're taking a trip back to Ireland in May and are trying to save money for that. She actually went through with it this year (we've tried the old "not exchanging gifts" before but then she buys something and puts our son's name on it). So you can say that not getting a gift was just the "gift" that I wanted this year.
