hippo new year!
Yay, it's 2006! We had a lovely time at the party last night - thanks so much somerled! :) I'm going to stick them in my lj scrapbook as soon as I'm done this. (eta: here are the pictures. :)
This morning fremlin and I went to the Lieutenant Governor's residence for the annual levee there. I'd never been before, and it was enjoyable. Also it was kind of nice to just have to walk out the door and outside for about a minute to get there. :) It was super-crowded, and there were rolls and hot cider and tomato and cheese soup (which was very yummy).
I think later we're wandering over to Clayton Park for some socializing. Have to check the bus schedule.
Got to get some actual breakfast now, I think.
