I've seen one scan in which Apollo was doing...something...to the Midnighter's ear (kissing or licking? I don't remember), and A looked blissful and tM looked amused, and yes, it was very cute in a butchy kind of way. Because it's hard to call the Midnighter "cute" when he looks like Batman, only less well-adjusted.
It's in the same folder as scans of Shatterstar and Rictor being very subtexty. "Conversations of a personal nature." *snerk* I may not have bought a superhero comic in years, but lord love the slashfen for keeping me current. :D
It's a comic book originally written by Warren Ellis about a superhero team of the same name. Apollo and the Midnighter are a canon couple in the books. :D The series, at least the first part, is considered quite good among comics geeks; Ellis is highly regarded as a writer.
