I've been watching a lot of Oz lately--including the series finale, which I saw for the first time--and it's two in the morning and I've had way too much caffeine today. Way too much

Oz slash. now i've seen it all. I guess that's kind of a redundancy when you think about it, cause, well, they are all ready all man-on-man anyways. I did love Oz, though. Maybe you should write some Pancomo and Augustus slash...*barf* heheheeh. Anyway, at least your slash is more founded than that hobbit slash.
Oh man, I *love* this. Your McManus voice is absolutely perfect! And I'm ecstatic that you're still inspired to write Oz fic on occasion; "And the Evening and the Morning Were the Third Day" was abolutely brilliant.
Would you mind if I posted a link to this on oz_rapsheet? I'm afraid a lot of Oz fans won't see it otherwise...

I enjoy reading post-Season 6 fic. So many Oz fans try to ignore what they call "Season 666", but there are so many possibilities if you just move past it, and go on into the future. I like the fact that people continue to die around Beecher, even after Keller's gone...and Beecher just looks at McManus and shrugs.
I love that line...you made me laugh!
I just went to your site and read And the evening and the morning were the third day, also. I really liked it. It's sad that everyone is so blaze about the horror of Oz...even rape is treated as just one more thing in another typical day. It's especially harsh that it's two women (Whittlesey and Dr. Nathan) that you use to point this out to us. It makes the point more strongly that way.
It sounds like you're going to continue writing Oz...I'm glad to hear it! We need all the good writers we can get!

I'm glad you're grooving on it! Oz is intimidating to write in since the canon is so damn *good*.
And you know, the thing about the people who work in Oz... they're full of angst and sometimes compassion, sure, but they're not exactly full of action. Not one of them has ever *really* done a damn thing about conditions there. Not one.

A lot of my stuff is slash (though that particular one isn't, really), which means HOT MAN-ON-MAN ACTION, so be warned. and. heh. yes.

Loved "And the Evening..." too. (can't remember if I ever told you)
I hope you'll consider archiving your Oz work at the Unit-B archive (at http://unitb.slashcity.net ) so more people can enjoy it. :-)

This story is getting longer... I'm really starting to like it.
I'll definitely archive there.
And I need an Oz icon. Arr.
