We bought Martian Child but wanted to screen it before watching it with the kids and we just haven't gotten a chance! What do you think? The kids wouldn't have issues with it, would they?
I don't THINK they would have issues, but I don't know them very well- it shows all the things that John Cusack's character, as an adoptive parent, does to help the boy feel like he has a family and is normal. And the boy thinks he's a 'martian' meaning he has no family because they left him on this planet and he's waiting for his 'spaceship' to come back for him. I don't know how sensitive the boys are to this kind of thing, but I definitely was teary-eyed through parts. Let me know what you guys think!
