Oh, I think they'll accuse him. Someone always accuses the best player, because they can't wrap their little heads around the fact that, yes, there ARE people out there that are JUST THAT GOOD. And just generally a good guy, too. :\

Look at it from the other side: when guys like Manny and A-Rod get caught with their pants down, it's really hard not to assume anyone as solid as Pujols might not be squeaky clean.

unfortunately, because of the actions of certain people, any player who is incredibly good like Pujols will have suspicions cast on him.

I like just how many of us put Yes on both "He will be accused of using steroids" and "So, do you want him on your team?"

I think he'll probably be accused of juicing (I'm sure there are people accusing him even now), but that's not necessarily the same as him being an actual steroid user.

Ugh, I hate to say it because I like the guy, but I'm waiting for the steroid allegation "shoe to drop" myself. I hope not though, seems like he's been consistent ever since his rookie year and hasn't really had a "bad year", so to speak.
