Funny, I just thought of you! I just drove down to visit my parents in the OC and as I stopped at a light on PCH, I looked over and saw Kevin L. standing on the median, smiling. You should've been there, I would've pulled over and forced you two to talk.

I'll simulate a coffee date with you any time.

i'm pretty sure the water in los angeles contains simulation provoking bacteria. or in the bottled vitamin water, rather. i think you'll be just fine.

I think it's probably just because I live smooshed up next to Hollywood, frontline of the simulacra. Or maybe it's the vitamin water. I love the orange one!

I love how you detourned a photo of somebody playing with a red ball at Wal Mart into a post-modern psychology session.

How comfortable do you feel in simulation? I always preferred Deleuze's conception, that simulation itself was the creation of a new reality and not a synthesis or masking of an old one. There's problems in both ideas I suppose.

Once you read Simulacra & Simulation (I think that's the title but I always get it mixed-up) it will never leave you, you won't be able to escape it! I swear it.

Totally. The above quote is from the Precession of Simulacra.
