HBP (possilble spoilers?)

Just a quick note to tell you I've seen Harry Potter 6 already :) And... It wasn't as good as I expected, to be honest. Too much hype I reckon.

Loved Ron, but that's a given so... :) The scene with the love potion had me laughing out loud lol Well, the comedic aspect of the film was pretty awesome. And Severus was great too, so dark and dangerous * ( Read more... )

I agree about the not-enough about the HBP, I felt like the concept was left loose. And if one didn't read the book, they'd probably really friggin confused.

Are you talking about the attack scene? Cause Harry told them about what he suspected Draco doing and then everything pretty much exploded and Bella and Fenrir (...Remus, wtf?) came and was epic and set the place on fire...epically.

I loved the Felis Felix scene. "Don't forget the pinces!" *click click click*

Yeah, really, I was there with a friend who doesn't read the books and she didn't get why it was even called HBP when it was 'so unimportant' lol I had to do a lot of explaining.

And yeah, exactly that scene. We saw Ron eating the little cake or whatever it was and then pretty much the Burrow in flames and everyone staring. The only action in the movie and they cut it out, meh.

And I must admit I loved Lavender too, she was annoying but in a good way :) The scene in the infirmary after Ron was poisoned was priceless, especially Snape, Dumbledore and Slughorn just standing there lol

I think the movies assume you've read the book. They have to, there's no way they can stuff the entire book into the movie, you kinda have to fill in blank spots.

S'not t he only action--what about the end? YOu gotta admit, the Inferi were friggin terrifying.

That was hilarious. I loved their faces.

Well, yeah, but then again I was a bit jealous of my friend 'cause she didn't know what Draco was supposed to do or that Dumbledore would die. But otherwise she was like 'wtf?' lol

And I must admit the Inferi made me almost cry out loud when they appeared first lol Also, Dumbledore's death was done well, but the end was somehow anticlimactic, with Harry being oh so brave and all that. It kinda left me wanting more, but not in the good way.

Noooooo, I'm not reading your post. I've read one post where someone has talked about the movie, but I regretted it straight away, so I swore myself I wouldn't read any review about this before I hadn't seen it myself.

So -- I hope you liked the movie XD

Well in that case it's safe to read the first little paragraph, to answer your question lol But really, there aren't any real spoilers, just my general opinion. However, I've seen it for the second time today and I must admit I liked it better. It'll have to grow on me I guess though. And I need to see it in English, of course, in here it's only dubbed, meh.

I wasn’t at all impressed with the movie; I think they deviated from the book too much.

I agree that Ron was great and at of all the kid actors I think Rupert Grint is the most talented. I’ve read about some of the independent films he has being doing and can’t wait to see them.

Your right Harry and Hermione were pretty pathetic in some scenes... I found them very blah if you know what I mean.

And yes NOT ENOUGH REMUS.... Or Snape actually I’m surprised they didn’t show you him teaching since he finally got the job he always wanted.

Over all I was really disappointed

Well, I must admit I've been a fan of Rupert for a long time, so that's why I'm biased :) But after reading numerous reviews, many people think he's the best of the trio. And if you wanna see him in other films, download (or smt lol) 'Driving Lessons', it's really great and funny and sweet :) I can't wait to see 'Cherrybomb', his other movie, but god knows when that is released, meh.

And yeah, I was kinda pissed there was no lesson with Snape but so much of Slughorn instead. I hope the last 2 movies will make up for it, but I don't hold my breath, 'cause I didn't like the book much.

That’s quite funny cause I didn’t like the last book either. I read the first quarter of it when it first came out and couldn’t read anymore for about three months because I just couldn’t get into it; which is rare for me because it takes me less than 24 hours to read most books. Too many characters were killed off, I mean for Christ sake why kill the owl... talk about over kill.
