I nominated Weird Al and you made me vote against him in support of the Joke.

Oh well, I'll very obviously get to vote for him next round because the Killing Joke ALWAYS gets eliminated in Round One.

I describe them as one of the most influential bands no one has ever heard of.

I tried to help Killing Joke out by seeding them higher this round - since they are the only band to get nominated every single year and not make it past round one.

But once the voting starts I can't help the Joke.

Yeah, I think it's their lack of popularity that screws them. People will tend to vote for the devil they know over the one they never heard of.

Think of it this way - they are doing better than The Beatles who didn't even manage to get nominated.

I'm gonna let you finish Glen, but the only Beck I listen to has two tables and a microphone. Still voted for Joy Division though.

The name of the band is Talking Heads. There's no article. To be honest, I didn't realize this until very recently, despite there is an album called "The Name of This Band is Talking Heads"

I sure hope they beat The Ramones. Ick!
