Greece Settlement Agreement
(CNN) - Greece and its creditors have come to a tentative agreement on how to settle their ongoing negotiations involving debt relief, according to official sources within the EU.
Under the terms of the agreement the Greek debt situation will be decided by a trial by combat between champions chosen by both Greece and Germany, officials said.
Officials expected Germany to select Woden, the husband of the goddess Frigg and master of healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet, to be their champion.
Meanwhile most experts expect Greece to select Zeus, the god of sky and thunder and proprietor of Mt. Olympus to represent them them in the battle arena.
"This is by far the most sensible proposal put on the table so far," said Morgan Stanley financial reporter N. Gay Men. "It respects tradition and any result will be acceptable to all parties."
EU Market Analyst Al N. Morre agreed, saying, "This will show that the EU is not a poorly concieved pipe dream but rather a league of extraordinary gentlemen."
