Factoid about John in 'De-Lovely'

First, for those who haven't seen De-Lovely, watch it. It's a bio of Cole Porter's life and very well done. Excellent acting. John plays a Jack, Broadway actor who's one of Cole Porter's lovers.

Looks like we know what Mr. Harkness was up to after WWII. ;D

until Torchwood contradicts this, it is my personal canon for what Jack was up to in the early 30s and no-one can tell me different.

WWII took place 1939-1945, not the early 30's.

Yes, but that Cole Porter musical came out in the early thirties. Mistake on the part of the original poster, not on the commenter (which was already pointed out in one of the other crossposts).

Yeah, that scene in De-Lovely was definitely the 1930's. So I suppose it could have been Jack taking the slow road through the 20th century.
