A long shot I know, but I'm desperate for a ticket for John's concert tomorrow (Monday) night. If anyone has a spare or knows of any way I can get one please let me know.
I'm not sure I can make it - I've got some sort of flu bug that's made me horribly wobbly - but I'm in Bicester (near Oxford). Unless you think it's worth a very long train journey to collect it, or want to pay for a courier, I don't know how I could get my ticket to you.
Their box office is all fancy computerised, so provided phoebesmum calls them and gives them the details of her ticket, who bought it and their credit card details and says who it is to be given to (and you'd probably need to give her some details about you - they will tell her what) they ought to be able to transfer it for pickup.
I've worked events that used their box office before, and they have been able to do transfers and also replace lost tickets just by checking details on the system.
I'll be the one on the pavement outside, going "Anybody got a spare?" ;-)
