Yes, ten thousand years. That's just the history of one of the civilizations, by the way. The universe itself is plotted back several million years, if you include the Progenitor Races and their history.

This'll become one with several books … a series ? … Otherwise it'll be too big as one book, isn't it ?

This book (Ciaran's Lament) is the first of a trilogy. However, I have plans to use this universe for several different series. They will all be part of the same history, but different characters, stories, and parts of the galaxy/timeline.
