Find out what they kept olive oil and vinegar in. Get some of those. Earthenware bottles?
A wax tablet booklet thing.
A new wool dress.
A black wool hood with black silk laurel leaves appliqued around the edge.
A fly or shade of some sort that would actually fit in the Fiat.

We should compare brainstorms about this business of a shade fly. I really want a non-popup one that's super-portable, and I feel like this should be doable.

I feel like it should, too. If I could find wood poles with a breakdown sleeve, I think it would be possible. I just can't fit anything more than about 3' long in the Fiat :P

You might poke Jehan - I know he and Luke at least used to have some round (maybe hexagonal?) poles with section-able sleeves. Hex seems like both a lovely and quite functional option; square similarly.

And there is always the option of "ask Fritz", and then they'd be all handmade and stuff.

(Very tangentially - did you see the wedge tent that one of the Revival clothing folks was painting to look like a frame from the Manesse Codex? It was behind the Revival tent but you could also see it from the road. It was pretty awesome.)
