Also. I know exactly what you mean. There is a certain spookiness to that kind of epiphany, though, that we know we could be anywhere, in any time. Feel the universe expand outward from that thought. Then God is everywhere.

There's this scene in a Bruce Lee movie where the student is training under the master. At one point he points and says "It is like a finger pointing at the moon.."
Yeah, when I got that treatment I got totally lost staring at the finger.
