It's been a few weeks since Maya quit, but Pat and Todd have had much more difficulty than usual filling her spot. There's a thousand young women out there in New York City hoping to get a good bartending job, but the timing was bad. I have a hunch that before long you will have a "don't bring politics up on the blog" rule in place as well. Personally, I am still undecided, but the older I get the more I beleive my original theory from years ago which is "there are no GOOD politicians, just varying degrees of bad ones." Unfortunately, it too often seems to come down to voting for the lesser of two evils as far as I am concerned. Great to see you posting fairly regularly again and that things seem to be going well. Trying to get back in the habit of doing so myself.

And if you Google "reasons not to vote for Obama" you'll find just as many hits as on the McCain page. I have to agree with another commenter about the lesser of two evils. Voting for a minor candidate or a write in just tips the scales rather than making an effective difference.
