Definitely, not only for your own peace of mind (so you just KNOW what the deal is), but also to make them SAY it right to you, if they don't want you to come back.

Ive been reading your journal for such a long time now.

Im so sorry to hear that things have turned to the worst. I hope your father can help you, and you deserve much better.

My motto for life is "The worst things can make the best people"

And with all the experience you have behind a bar im sure it wouldnt be hard to find someplace that would be happy to accept you.
