Jack is a wise, wise man. You inspired a bunch of people and you have your own goal to complete someday now. There's nothing shameful about that. You did good.

Just wanted to let you know that this was the third year I did NaNo and the first year I didn't finish. I was just so busy this month. My friends who do it with me didn't make it this year either. So don't feel bad. It's all good. Keep working on your novel and remember, you can do NaNo again next year. : )

As a law student, I can say that lawyers make excellent arguments. Seriously, glad to read your entries again and don't give up on the novel. It will happen when it happens.
