I think I never really discovered the "cool and fun" side of Melbourne....or I discovered it, but was too busy working shithouse jobs and not having any money or friends to do cool stuff.

You can always just go back to Melbourne for holidays and stuff when you live in Sydney anyway!

I think it's more of an internal thing. I *feel* like I belong here - it's hard to describe, I just feel "at home?"... But so many people I talk to just don't like the city of Melbourne as a whole - but then again most of them I ask grew up here too. I suppose it's exactly how I feel about Sydney whenever I'm there.

I will definitely be back. As you all know, I'm am the uber holidayer.
