Alright, so I'm about eight episodes in to Star Trek: The Original Series, or TOS for the more familiar out there. Spock just did his first Vulcan mindmeld and it occurred to me that even if the writers thought this up on the fly for this specific episode, the way they integrated it into the episode and just how much IT MAKES SENSE makes me miss TV

Aw, I'm at episode 6 right now. I am gonna keep watching. Yay for the vulcan mind meld! Man, if I were to create a show I would make sure my writers would hold the spirit of my original idea to all the plots and shit. I'd so be in there as part of the group making it THE FUCKING BOMB.

Yeah, I would totally trust my writers to get the work done and everything? But I'd definitely go through each episode being like "THIS IS NOT WHAT HE WOULD SAY. FIX IT! FIX IT!"

Because I'm a mean tyrant like that.

But I really would n a tyrant, too. I'd fix all the lines that I felt weren't working and make it epic. I'd be quite bossy but just in the nicest way possible? If that makes sense. I'd just want the best for my show.

I KEPT THINKING THE SAME THING ABOUT THE STYROFOAM DICK. LOLOLOL. I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH!

I find it amazing just how well all of the alienness of Spock gets worked in, and it feels all natural, and omg. <3 I love those show writers SO MUCH.

It just fits so perfectly and makes so much sense! WHY ARE ALIENS SUCH A BIG DEAL IN TV SHOWS NOWADAYS?!
